We cant deny that the price of 149 Euro for the 4/64GB variant of the Poco M3 is really jawdropping. Considering all the specs that Poco has put into it, it is really something worth considering if you are quite short of budget but would really love to buy something thats really worth every penny on your pocket. Normally at that price point you might get some really mediocre phones out there in the market. But since Poco said its gonna disrupt the pricing in the market, lets see how far does your 149 Euro really go.

Design

For the design category, id give Poco M3 a good thumbs up. Even priced at one of the lowest segment in the market, it still manages to impress on the design department. The letherette like feel at the back is the best part that I can say. The grip at the back of the phone is definitely the winning part for me, as it is not silky smooth and smudgy due to fingerprints.

The camera module did take a little extra mile as it has exteneded to the other side of the phone then there is the POCO logo over there, unlike the Poco X3 wherein I feel the logo is quite too loud on the phone, this is thus more clearer yet smaller than its X3 counterpart.

Another takeaway is the dual stereo speaker, this one gives me the better experience in watching movies and playing games.

I guess this is the cheapest phone I have tried with a side mounted finger print sensor, well its not the fastest but it surely gets the job done.

Sounds and Gaming

I have a great time playing some videos on youtube and the experience is ok, but its a bit hard if you compare it to higher devices like the Poco X3 since its not really comparable in the first place. The sounds are loud but there are those even louder and even better than this one.

Gaming I can say that Mobile Legends and hungry shark is quite okay, just a few frame drops. While Call of Duty mobile, its a little sluggish but most of the time its playable since I was able to select high graphics settings on this one but only to get a warm back case later toward the game.

Photo Samples

This phone has a triple camera setup with 48MP as its main camera, supported by 2MP macro lens and 2 MP Depth sensor. There is also a 8MP Front shooter.

Bight outdoors are pretty decent, it gets a little grainy and noisy once there is no lights and dim lights.

Battery and benchmark

draining the phone to 19% then charge back to 100% using the defaut cable and charger, its took me 2 hours and 26 minutes. While PC Mark Battery test gave it a 17 hours and 3 minutes enduance test while on 50% brightness settings.

Verdict

If you are in the market hunting for a awesome phone to play with, and budget is below 150 Euros, I highly recommend it to you since you are not a heavy user. But for multitasking and power user like me, I will recommend you to buy the Pioco X3 instead.
