MIUI12 FOR REDMI NOTE 9S - General - Xiaomi Community

It's been too long waiting for Miui 12 for my Note 9s it's very strange lower end devices have recieved this update and we paying more for lattest models are still waiting for update like beggers.. it's not fair dear Redmi I am having a thought to switch to other mobile company, because xiaomi is behaving very childishly!

The reason some devices receive updates earlier isn't because they are lower-end. It's because they are older. So it goes without saying that the hardware is more studied upon and as a result, MIUI updates are easier to develop. Plus, since the RN9s is an International-only device (Meaning that there isn't a Chinese variant of the device), MIUI updates have to be developed from the ground-up, and can't be ported from MIUI China ROM.
