[Q&A] Was not able to update Mi 8 SE to MIUI 12

Hello,

I saw that we already have the V12.0.1.0.QEBCNXM for Mi 8 SE (China ROM, of course).

However I was not able to update.

I tried to download from the link and update it manually, but it gave me the announce of "ROM is in beta testing"

Any help or information?

We only deal with Global ROMs here, but I checked Mi 8 SE. The latest stable available is v11.0.3.0 based on MIUI 11. It seems the ROM you've downloaded is still in Beta testing and only the selected users can flash it. You may wait for the stable release.
