[Other] Android 10 MIUI 12 BATTERY DRAIN

MAYBE THIS IS AN ANDROID 10 ISSUE AND NOT A MI 9T ISSUE AS THERE ARE MANY XIAOMI DEVICES FACING BATTERY DRAIN.

Hello,
After posting more than 5 times and creating a poll which indicates the extent of battery drain to Xiaomi users,
https://c.mi.com/thread-3035009-1-0.html?t=1599308665741

https://c.mi.com/thread-3031218-1-0.html?t=1599308721283and even after 1 whole year of facing such a serious issue the problem still exists!!!

Even after the latest update I am facing high battery drain in my Mi 9T.Android system uses more than 20% instead of 3-4% as before in Android 9 and MIUI 10 when I bought the phone and that is the problem.

During night, my phone's battery used to fall by 1-2%, now 15% with EXACTLY the same settings and with only 60 battery cycles.
I used to get 8-9h screen on time now 5-6 as you can see below, with EXACTLY the same settings and with only 60 battery cycles.

There are so many people facing this issue and even after 1 year (roughly) after the update to Android 10 there is still no solution.
After trying so many things, even factory reset, even reinstall the latest update, even charging the phone for 2 hours without touching it to optimise.... the issue is not solved.

I don't know if the problem is with Miui or with Android but we need an URGENT update to fix it.

If there is anyone out there who can fix such an issue or if you can send it to the responsible team, please do so because this problem exists in many Xiaomi models as you can see in the Mi Community forum.

We are waiting for an update,Thank you

This is very true. It is a serious issue.

How can I maybe downgrade my phone?

If I don't see an answer from an admin/someone responsible saying that I will send it to the team to send you an urgent update, I don't have a hope that it will be fixed...

I think they might be working on it for a subsequent update.

The option to roll back an update is should urgently be implemented though.

As you know, or sharp-sighted users, you have noticed that Xiaomi software is very weak and unfortunate.  There are always big bugs in this software that remain and even after reporting these problems are not fixed.  Most likely, my next phone will not be from this company.  And I do research to see which company is successful in providing sustainable software, then I start buying.  For example, when I turn on the Saver battery, the battery consumption increases strangely, which is really ridiculous !!!  .

that's for sure true so many bugs in every update new update of miui. and they don't fix. So far most stable without any bugs android i was using was on Sony devices, Sony is really good at development software.
MIUI is not so bad but its so hardcoded mess software that kills many useful features from android base.

I would recommend to just unlock bootloader and change to Xiaomi.Eu ROM, it has way more features and I remember the battery life was excellent back when I had a Redmi Note 6 pro.
it is just a pain in the butt to do but so rewarding, If you use banking apps just close bootloader after ROM change

This is a known issue for 1 whole year now...there are so many posts and feedback submits and nothing happens. What else can we do except from patience? I understand if they need more than 1 month to fix a battery drain...but for 1 whole year..this is unacceptable. It just seems that they don't care about fixing it...
