Our phone screens are getting bigger every day but sadly, the same can't be said for our hands that have refused to grow along with the trends.
Some years back, smartphones with screens of 5.5 inches display size were referred to as phablets because they were deemed too big to be called phones, but now the average smartphone screen is sized at between 6.3" to 6.9", some have crossed the 7.0" mark.
Ever tried reaching the top of your phone from bottom while operating it with one hand? Yeah, I know how strenuous and 'impossible' that is.
And that's what the One Handed Mode solves for you.

This feature isn't really new to android or Xiaomi devices, but for some people, they are yet to take full advantage of this feature.
Enabling this feature makes your device screen smaller and drags it down to either lower corners of your phone so that you can easily operate it with one hand.
This solves the problem of you trying to check something quickly on your phone while one of your hands is busy. You easily pull the screen down to one part of your phone and flex with one hand.
Come with me, let me show you how to get it activated.
1. Take a stroll to your device's settings and click on Additional Settings.

After activating it, you just need to swipe left or right from your home button to bring the screen closer to you.
But what if you're using Gestures Navigation on your phone and you don't have a home button?
No problems at all.
You can still trigger the one hand mode using the Quick Ball option.
Quick ball is a shortcut button that you can use keep your important shortcuts within reach, so you can use it to keep the one-handed mode shortcut within reach.
Here's how to activate it.
1. Return to Additional Settings and click on Quick ball.
