MI8 blinks very intensely - Mi 8/SE/EE/Lite/Pro - Mi Community

Hello everyone.
I've been having problems when i am in a room without light and my MI8 blinks very intensely. it had never happened.
I think it started in one of the latest updates.
This happens with some videos and when I enlarge an image.
I've seen people with similar but not identical problems.

Does any one know what's the problem?

Hi there!

Which ROM version are you on?
Does this happen in all apps or just facebook? From the video, I could see it is triggered by scrolling through the contents - not sure if its app specific.

My pocophone F1 also blinks like that on the Mi Community app ever since the implementation of dark mode but has been gone since I've done a factory reset. Kindly show your about phone for us to know which version you're on.

I'm using MUIU Global 11.0.4.
first I thought it was because of dark mode and turned it off but it kept doing it.

I see. As 3dr14n suggested, try a factory reset after making a backup of your data. Let us know if it helps.

hello again
finally I gained courage and tried the factory reset.
after this reset I realised that the phone is still the same.
waking up, sleeping screen and watching some videos stil does this flashes.
I'm not sure that this is a hardware problem because this all started when I used the dark mode.
