By the way about drivers. I don't know if this is normal, but under Windows 7, in addition to platform-tools, I need to install drivers separately from Xiaomi:

I haven't tested it on Windows 7 yet, so not sure about that. Thanks for the heads-up! :-)

Is it possible to fix that without a pc? Because i have the same problem but i don't have a laptop/pc

The first method works for stock Android devices. But since MIUI is heavily customised, it requires changing from the ADB, which requires a PC/laptop.

Cheers! :-)

Hey, Thank you for the clarification and solution. This worked for me in Poco f1. I mean using adb command.
By the way, of I use the system ui tuner app, it says permission is required for the settings. How to make use of the app to make changes for any other ui tuning?

It's mainly for non MIUI devices, like Android One devices. It doesn't work well with MIUI because this is heavily customised.

Cheers! :-)

I'm unles unable to proceed further it's mentioning platform tools is not recognisable operable program or batch files.

Are you on Windows 7? Check comment #28 in this thread. You may need to install other drivers too (links available).

it's mentioning "page not found'

The page is working. I believe the community site breaks long URLs. I've updated my previous comment with a shortened link. Kindly check. You may check out any YouTube tutorials on how to install drivers manually, if that's more convenient for you.

Cheers! :-)

By following the second method

After typing adb devices command, I can't able to see my device in that list. So I can't able to run the shell settings command.

Do you have platform tools installed? Turned on the options as said in the second method?
