Android Go is an optimized lightweight system from Google for entry-level phones.
It enjoys the same security updates as Android and can run on low-end devices. In more than two years, Google has launched a number of lite apps for Android Go, including YouTube, Google Photos, Google Assistant, and more.
Not long ago, Google announced that Android Go has exceeded 100 million monthly live devices. Now, Google brings “Camera Go” which gives entry-level phones a much better camera experience.

Camera Go brings portrait mode and more to entry-level devices
Well, if you have a budget of $100 or less, you can be almost certain that you will be getting a phone with a “crappy” camera. However, Google is changing all that and wants to make low-end devices have better camera experience. To do this, the company has announced “Camera Go”. In simple terms, this camera app brings Google’s top camera technology to more entry-level phones.

In addition to portrait mode, Camera Go can also switch between camera, video, translation, and other modes. In fact, the entire interface is similar to Google Camera. It also supports space cleaning, and the remaining number of photos will reflect at the top of the interface, next to the flash and the settings button.
Officially, Camera Go will hit the market in April and will likely become available for older devices afterwards.
If you're a Xiaomi Redmi Go user, this may just be good news for you after all.
For those phones that have no support for Google Camera (GCam), Camera Go may just be the way to go now.
