I got it! The best for me is the possibility to use themes! When Xiaomi does let us use all the possibilities and don't put restrictions on it, it will be the perfect!
Thanks Xiaomi for letting us getting the new firmware!

Yes. It's about time Xiaomi enabled Themes support for EU and more regions. A positive move indeed. Hopefully more features will be enabled soon.

Got it. Everything is fine, but gcam ports won't work under android 10.

Try GCam 7.2 based on Android 10. The libs may be different, but with the kernel sources already made available for the devs, it won't take long before someone could port the best version of GCam.

It's about time! A new update is released for Mi8 too (11.0.3.0). The earlier version is rolled back due to some issues. New version should be available for Mi Pilots now.

Feedback here : MIUI 11 Beta Stable v11.0.4.0.QEJMIXM for POCO F1 with Android 1

Tip : For those users having battery drain, lag and other instability issues, perform a factory reset first. Note that a full wipe is recommended for major Android upgrades for best performance. There will be a lot of redundant files and kernel differences during major updates, and a full wipe will solve most of these issues. Don't forget to MAKE A BACKUP. To make a local backup, use the Backup & reset option in Settings.

Cheers! :-)

Bro jus wanted to ask should we update our phone first to android 10 thn have a factory reset or shall we factory reset the device first and thn download android 10 update.

Update and factory reset. In most cases you may not even have to perform a factory reset; only do it if you feel lag or any instability in the system.

Twitter not working under the new android 10.

It's not an issue with the ROM, but with Twitter itself. A new app update should fix it. Read more here : https://bit.ly/2Rh9nx1

I have updated and there are no major issues. Do you still suggest a factory reset after backup.

Only if you end up with issues. It's not mandatory.

is it require to do a factory reset for stable rom(or receiving any major update) while receiving android 10? my question is, is that mandatory to do a factory reset for stable rom?

No. Only if you face any bugs like UI lag, bad battery backup, and so on. It is NOT mandatory. But it's a good practice after major updates (like from P to Q) so that the system will clean all the redundant files and unnecessary cache dumped in the system.

I normally flash the ROM via TWRP since I'm rooted, and I only wipe cache and dalvik cache partitions of the system - which are the main culprits. But the stock Mi recovery doesn't have an option to wipe cache and dalvik cache partitions only, so users might end up having some issues. That's why a factory reset is suggested as it wipes everything, including cache and dalvik cache. But in most cases, a factory reset is not required.

I would suggest you to update your system, let it run for a couple of days and see how it goes. If you don't find any issues, then continue using it. If you have instability or battery issues, then MAKE A BACKUP and perform a factory reset  and let the ROM settle down on the fresh system. Most issues will be gone with that.

I hope this explains!
Cheers! :-)

what to do to get 11.0.4.0 from 9.6.27?
Should i install first stable 11.0.5.0 then 11.0.4.0?

I would recommend going to 11.0.5.0 first and then to 11.0.4.0 since the latter is based on Android 10. But either way it should be fine. Do note that switching from beta to stable will wipe all your data, so MAKE A BACKUP!
