Of course not, but I want to have the freedom to test other camera apps without problems with incompatibility, Mi a3 has camera2 api enabled, what is the problem with Mi A2 also having camera2 api?

It is development's team choice if they wanna do that. And you can count on 99% that it wont come. Redmi Note 4, Redmi Note 5, etc. Asked the same thing and they did not get it. So most likely we wont get it.

I know it's hard, but if we don't try to convince the developers it's worse, I'm trying here, because when I saw that the Mi A3 has support for camera2 api, I was very angry, Mi A2 should too

That would be awesome if Dev team decide to include camera2api enabled in configuration by default in future update. I really don't want to mess with custon ROMs and patching as I really don't want to brick my phone

Exactly, it would be very good, since mi a3 has, I see no problem of mi a2 also have, hope they are seeing this post .. Devs .. I believe
