Ram over usage? - Redmi Note 8/Pro/8T - Xiaomi Community

Having a 6gb ram phone should be awesome, but my phone just gives me 3gb to use (the rest is supposed at use already with my phone doing nothing and everything closed). Is this normal? Does MIUI 11 consumes that much RAM? I didn't had problem with my 3gb ram Redmi 6 lol
I can't find my running process anywhere in developers settings or ram usage informations

Hi there, since we're updated to Android Pie, some feature are missing such as "Running Process", "RAM Usage" . etc. In MIUI 11, since it's new software, let your phone optimize itself or try to Turn Off MIUI Optimization or disable some bloatware apps/Google Services

AFAIK, 6GB is not true 6128MB, like my phone Redmi 6A with 2GB. My true capacity of RAM is 1856MB. 2GB is approx.

Yes, I'm aware but still seems like too much usage on my device, it **s that I can't see whats eating my memory lol

Why are those features missing?

I don't know why they removed that feature. I guess for who get Android Pie will lost that feature. In my Redmi 5A with MIUI 11 Oreo, that feature still available
