[Discussion] Misconception of Names of Redmi 5 plus and Redmi note 5 device

Recently we got news that Redmi 5 plus device is going to get Miui 11 update within 4 to 12 November. But unfortunately no update was received . Not even any beta stable update which the Indian users are waiting so eagerly. Then why are we are we not getting any updates? . Later I found that Xiaomi did not actually included Redmi 5 plus device in the update rollout schedule at all. If you see closely on phase 2 they mentioned about Redmi Note 5 device which is actually Redmi note 5 ai , more precisely the code name is whyred. Redmi note 5 pro and Redmi note 5 ai have the same rom with same code name.  Redmi note 5 ai in short is now known as Redmi note 5. But when Redmi 5 plus was first launched in India it was also launched as Redmi note 5 -- now that's why we are having so many confusions. When any news comes out about Redmi note 5 we think it is for Redmi 5 plus but it is actually for Redmi note 5 ai.   Sadly at the end there is no news regarding Redmi 5 plus device about when it is going to get Miui 11 update globally. As because Redmi 5 plus is not mentioned in any of the four phases. So maybe we might get the update even far more late than we think or not received any update at all. Although in China an update of MIUI 11 has been released. In China Xiaomi seems to rollout update to them time to time. But globally the update is rolled out pretty late or gets suspended due to some errors . The Indian users of Redmi 5 plus are frustrated about this matter . In my opinion I think we are going to get the update in the next year 2020.   If you are a Redmi 5 plus user you can share your views and tell us what do you think when this device is going to get this new miui skin.
