Hi, alot of xioami phones lacks Camera2api level 3. For which we are facing many problems in camera.  Like : full manual controll, not able to use Google camera,  not full raw support. It is shamefull that even cheaper devices like redmi note 7 got level 3 camera2api but mi9 lite doesn't!
Without level 3 cam2api, the imx586 sensor is useless  in this device
So me and lot of Mi9Lite/CC9 Users requesting developers to enable the level 3 of camera 2api support in future updates.

This is a bummer. Ordered the phone few days ago and now realized that it doesn't come with RAW support! Big limitation for anyone interested in serious photographic output. Hope will be added in an update soon!

Same as me, my main reason to purchasing this device was because photography, but u know? U feel me better :/
Camera Quality is awful in details and gcam not work correct, 3rd party apps can't detect the sensor type wtf is wrong with this device? I hope devs fix all these stuff in future updates.

That's sad if true. Looking around here in other forums for other models that are also missing Level 3 support, I am not optimistic that it will be added after all. It looks like this is not a developer thing that "will be fixed".

This is more probably a business decision (is it some sort of licensing, who knows?) and I would very much like an official answer from Xiaomi about the reasons why Level 3 support is not included with this model.

Btw, I'm an enthusiast photographer and would very much like to complement my portfolios with mobile photography. Without RAW, that cannot happen (sorry Xiaomi, but your JPEGs are not yet there).

Yea, maybe you're right
If this thing won't happen, I'll change my device, maybe other brands... Idk
Let's see what will happen!!!

I agree! I'd love to see camera2api level 3 enabled! Did you guys already send them this suggestions through this new MIUI 11 feature? https://c.mi.com/thread-2653875-1-0.html?t=1576154456328
