I'll try, but I didn't want it that way.  My previous Motorola smartphone, running Android 8, had a settings option that enables hh:mm:ss

Well but this isn't a Motorola phone so it doesn't have the same features. Just like Motorola phones don't have native dual app features, every brand makes different stuff

Your answer is obvious, but it doesn't hurt to ask.  It is not the brand of the device but the operating system.

That default clock widget shows Hours and Minutes only. You need to download custom widget app from Google  Play Store.

I am already using the KWGT App.  With that I already have hh:mm:ss
