you have to put phone on fastboot mode and then flash the EEA 10.2.15 with miflash tool

If the phone has the bootloader locked does it work the same?

I've solved flashing with miflash pro... try it

Can you write the steps you did? I also used miflash pro but I can't.

I downloaded a fastboot rom. I pulled it out twice. I connected the phone to fastboot and select the rom folder. Finally I start the flash but if I don't have the bootloader unlocked it doesn't let me continue. Is there another procedure besides this one?

Let phone shut down with no cable on him.
Then vol - and power at same time and you're um fastboot mode.
On Miflash do all commun steps, only thing that you have to change is um the down corner select flash all.

Nothing, it doesn't work. But did you have the device unlocked?

you should try unlock bootloader with Mi Unlock app provided on Miui webpage. Probably you will have to wait some weeks til you get authorization. then just unlock bootloader and after that flash the fastboot rom.

how do you unlock the phone without it working?

it would if we had binded the xiaomi account to the phone in dev options. which nobody does unless they wanna unlock. just logging with the same account is NOT enough.

this is getting worse and worse, every couple hours another few people turn up (asuming they even find this forum/thread) to report the issue. maybe some higher ups should suspend the ota?

You are definitely right. The whole thing is unacceptable. They should suspend the OTA and provide us with the phone unusable a recovery procedure

nothing so far, a user was saying he was able to miflash even with the locked BL if he used the same branch tgz. another was saying miflashpro worked... so far nobody with the grus eea bricked yesterday has confirmed anything...

and of course no official response, they must be too busy prepping another phone's ota to brick more.

I've tried them all with roms and flashes, but nothing to do! I would expect a solution proposed by Xiaomi plus compensation for the damage caused! But I fear that it will never happen because evidently Xiaomi is not a serious company but only shit!

I bought the phone in Italy from Grossoshop. I contacted the official Xiaomi support and they told me that they cannot repair my phone even for a fee but to ask the seller. If there are other Italians who have purchased from grossoshop write to me in private that we organize ourselves in case of problems with the seller
