Exactly the same problem. I pressed the reboot and that's it. Did you manage to solve the problem somehow?

not yet no... probly will have to warranty it. shame...

if you're feeling brave, there are some cmd's to switch the fastboot mode to edl mode that MIGHT let miflash work. or open up the back plate and testpoint (but so far i haven't seen the test points for it) and that's a warranty void. so...

awesome update xiaomi, keep up the good work!

mi 9se update 10.3.1 on eea rom -> the system has been destroyed, press power

maybe when they release the 10.3.1 fastboot that may not want to erase before flashing in miflash... maybe...
or if anyone has any older tgz files to try? (grus_eea)

tried miflash and 10.2.3 and the latestglboal beta 9.6.20 no go, it doesnt flash while locked.

you should try unlock bootloader with Mi Unlock app provided on Miui webpage. Probably you will have to wait some weeks til you get authorization. then just unlock bootloader and after that flash the fastboot rom.

you can indeed open the unlock app. but this only works IF you have already binded the xiaomi account to the phone from dev options. which yes, you've guessed it, people only do WHEN they unlock.

for all of us stock users that are now essentially **ed we haven't started the unlock procedure. if we had, we would have the bootloader unlocked by now.

once the system is "destroyed" by this wonderful ota update somebody decided to release without testing you can't unlock.

try to download the mi unlock too on Miui site, then put the phone on fastboot mode and conect it to the computer. then login with the mi account that was on the phone. it should work

it would if we had binded the xiaomi account to the phone in dev options. which nobody does unless they wanna unlock. just logging with the same account is NOT enough.

this is getting worse and worse, every couple hours another few people turn up (asuming they even find this forum/thread) to report the issue. maybe some higher ups should suspend the ota?

i think i know how this could be fixed from our end... they would need to manually bind the account/device tags which would let us unlock with the miunlock and we could then miflash :D

they'll never do it (because they can't know which devices are acually stuck like this and which are stolen, etc), but still that's the way out of the loop by going around the miunlock error:
unlock return:20031 msg:账号与设备没有绑定关系
