And now, Xiaomi has expanded the Redmi-series smartphone portfolio in India. Today, at an event in New Delhi, Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Y3 and Redmi 7. Redmi Y series was designed for those who live their lives through self-expression and quality lifestyle. As per IDC, 7+ Million units of Redmi Y1 series have been shipped so far in India! Now its time to introduce the next selfie superstar- Redmi Y3. Coming to Redmi 7, this new all rounder offers uncompromised performance and durability.
Let's have a look at Redmi Y3 first. It is Xiaomi's latest budget selfie-focused smartphone and the successor of last year’s Redmi Y2 in India. The highlights of the Redmi Y3 include its 32-megapixel selfie camera with EIS, its dual rear camera design, its Aura Prism gradient design, the Snapdragon 632 SoC, MIUI 10 based on Android Pie, and finally, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Nowadays, in-display fingerprint sensor has become a trendy feature and is not just limited to flagship smartphones. Even the premium mid-range smartphones have also started offering the in-display fingerprint sensor.
But to offer the in-display fingerprint sensor, the smartphone manufacturer needs to use an OLED display. So what happens is that with the help of the visible light camera and the display panel, light transmittance of the OLED panel is used to “photograph” the fingerprint.

Making a big push for offline sales in India, Xiaomi is on track to reach the target of having 10,000 retail stores by the end of this year. Xiaomi India generated employment for over 2,000 people with the opening of 1,000 Mi Stores, which are spread across 19 states in the country.
"We have been the No. 1 smartphone brand in India for nine consecutive quarters and our market share in online business in the country is over 50 per cent.
Intel has launched the 9th generation Core mobile processors as a platform designed for gamers and content creators around the world. After launching the desktop processors in October last year, Intel is introducing the new chipsets as the most powerful mobile processors ever.
The company is a clear leader in the mobile computing space and with the new generation of processors, which includes the first Core i9 mobile processors with up to 5GHz Turbo and eight core, 16 thread design, it is trying to envision a future where the distinction between the desktop and mobile platforms become almost negligible. The announcement comes just a week after the company pulled out from 5g modem business.
