Music control in Mi Band 3. Would you like to change music? [Feature request]

As we know Xiaomi has shipped over 1 Million Mi Band 3 in just 17 days.
This is a really great armband from the beginning of series, and each subsequent one is getting better. It is great for measuring heart rate, tracking physical activity, reading notifications and much more. I miss only one function that would be very useful... Music control! While running, we often listen to music, so it would be useful to change it in the Mi Band 3 instead of pulling phone out of the pocket.

The only option is to download an external app that allows you to control the music using the built-in button (for example single tap for next song, double for previous one etc). Unfortunately, this is not very convenient for me. I would like to request a petition to add the option of changing music directly in the Mi Band 3. Muting the phone has been added, why can't this feature be added?
I would suggest to base it on the swipe method (swipe to the right for the next song, left to the previous one and holding the button for pause/start the song). However, I am open to any use of this feature, as long as it is added. I hope that this idea will be passed to the developers.
