[News] Maybank Introduces MaybankPay - Pay Using a Smartphone

Maybank today introduced their new service, named as MaybankPay. Through it, it works more or less like Apple Pay, Android or Samsung Pay Pay - where users can store credit or debit card on your smartphone, and use MaybankPay when making payment. MaybankPay is a first mobile wallet service in Malaysia. Other providers such as Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and so they do not present themselves to the local market yet.



Currently, it is only limited to Android device users only and requires device with NFC support for payment purposes.
MaybankPay support Visa Debit, Visa Credit and Visa Prepaid, to make payments users just simply tap on the Visa payWave terminal. Maybank aims to expand it to more locations by offering more payment terminal from month to month.
