Wi-Fi calling allows your smartphone to place and receive phone calls, as well as send and receive SMS messages over Wi-Fi instead of the cellular network. Your phone will seamlessly hand off to the cellular network when you move out of Wi-FI range.
This option won’t appear unless you’re using a phone with Wi-Fi calling support and are connected to a cellular network that works with it. But this is a quick way to check if you can currently use Wi-Fi calling.
I don't seem to have access to WiFi calling on my Mi mix 3 but I'm hoping it's going to be activated when available
*** Update ***
I now have the activation code for WiFi Calling provisioning
Step 1 Go to your dialer and type in
Scroll down until you see WiFi calling provisioned if you can't toggle to on proceed to step 2
Step 2 Return to the dialer and type in
You will get a message flash up on the bottom of your screen
Repeat step 1 to see that it is now toggled to on
See you on the next one
