Android Q Beta 2 is available today as an “incremental update” to the initial March release. We’re enrolling in the Beta Program and sideloading the OTAs right now to explore all the changes, so stay tuned to our updating (reverse chronological) list below.
While the first three Q releases are betas, Google’s focus is still on developers and identifying compatibility issues. The company is looking for feedback, with frequent changes and testing during this period!
AnTuTu Top 10 Smartphones For March 2019: Xiaomi Mi 9 Tops The List! [Posted by Crossfiree]
Antutu, the benchmarking site, is out with a new list of best-performing smartphones (Android) for the month of March 2019 in China. While Xiaomi Mi 9 ruled the list in the month of February, this month Xiaomi Mi 9 Transparent Edition secured the top position.
The Transparent Edition, with a Snapdragon 855 under the hood, scored 372,072 on Antutu. The standard Xiaomi Mi 9, on the other hand, bagged the second spot with a slightly lower score of 371,878.

The hottest feature of current smartphones is the full-screen and maybe the multi-camera module. Manufacturers with any size design make full-screen smartphones. So it’s a mainstream and if any model lacks this feature, it immediately appears out of the game. But there are different types of full-screen displays, including the bangs screen, drop screen, genuine full-screen, three-border-less screen, etc.
Recently, LetsGoDigital reported that Xiaomi applied for two design patents to WIPO (World Intellectual Property Office), showing the design appearance of smartphones with a very high screen ratio.

Xiaomi is already developing the next version of its custom Android OS which will be called MIUI 11. Yesterday, the product manager and design director for MIUI held a Q&A session where they disclosed new features that will be added to the new version
One of the main changes we will see is a brand new set of system icons that have been redesigned from the ground up. The new icons will also have a unified design. Liu Ming says they are hard at work on MIUI 11 and hope everyone will like it.
