Hey Mi Fans!
The Photo section has been created for Mi Community UK members to discuss, chat, review, ask and answer. It is for users to post their best photos, preferably taken with their Mi phone and hopefully help and encourage others to take great shots. We want to know what time of day it was taken, what lighting was like, has the picture been edited? What with? In order to keep this forum organised and helpful for all users, we should have rules which must be followed. These will make it easier for your opinions to be heard and your useful posts to be seen.
Rules for Subforum Photo
While we welcome users of any nation, all posts, whether they are original threads or comments, will be in English only. Comments in ANY other language will be deleted.
You must create detailed and interesting threads. Pictures, although preferred, are not essential. However, if you post a photo, please include information such as what camera was used and what lighting was like. If it was taken on a phone, which phobe and which camera app was used. Which shooting mode did you choose? Also, what was used for editing. Additionally, tell us where it was taken. Threads must not be a single sentence or a question. The QandA section is where you post questions, this subforum is where you post detailed threads. These can be on any topic within the context of the subforums. Try and catch users imaginations with an interesting picture, an informative thread, and perhaps a question at the end, to try and encourage other users to comment. Try to start a conversation.
Spam will not be tolerated. There is no spamming allowed in these subforums, or anywhere in the community. People found spamming will have their thread/comment deleted (also do not to include links to 3rd party websites). If the user persists, they will be banned. The community doesn't take spamming lightly as it doesn't benefit anyone in any way. Again, SPAM WILL NOT BE TOLERATED
4. No Profanity
Bad language will not be tolerated. Any thread or comment containing bad language will be deleted. Any persistent offenders will be banned.
Discrimination will not, under any circumstances, be tolerated. Any user causing offence to others on grounds of race, colour, gender, age, **ual orientation, religious beliefs, or for any other reason will be banned without notice.
Selfies are not allowed as they aren't really helpful. Please do not post them. Any post containing a selfie will be deleted. Portraits are fine, but photos of people that have no photographic merit are not allowed. Similarly, please don't post photos of children. These will also be deleted.
7. Personalised Watermarks
Please do not insert personalised watermarks into your photographs. The in-built ones generated by Mi phones is OK, however.
Categories for Subforum
As part of the rules and guidelines of the subforum Photo below I will leave the description of each category of this subforum, to help us maintain order within the forum and everything you post is easy to locate and to help us or share tutorials, tips etc.
In this category, it is only for a set of photographs, not a single photo, that is, for a publication to be considered an album, it must have at least 3 to 4 photos. From there to forward. If we find publications with one or two photos in the album section, that publication will be changed in the Other section. This decision is to have a more orderly and coherent forum.
This category is for the user to give tips or tips for better photos, take advantage of the camera, tricks or applications to improve the experience in photography.
This category will be for the user to ask or put a topic to discuss (respecting the rules of the forum), the topics related to the forum.
This category is reserved to the Admin Team for contests related to the subforum.
This category is more offtopic, but aimed at photography. To give an example, the publications with one or two photos, repeated photos, any questions they have about the camera of their Xiaomi or what has nothing to do with the sections explained above.
If the rules are followed by all users, we can create a fun, useful and enjoyable Mi Community for everyone. If you need any more information or need to seek clarity on any of the rules in place, you are more than welcome to contact me or someone else from the moderation team!
Welcome to Photo subforum, share with Mi Community UK your best shots!
