FAQ ON ROM

Ans: Global beta for MIUI is still under development. However, there is still no official announcement about the updates I think there is some fatal error which the developers are facing. Once the update will roll out you will get notified about the update and the Global stable ROM for Redmi 4A is released in late November.

FAQ ON BATTERY

-> My battery is draining too fast I am not able to get the good battery backup on my device?
Ans: Redmi 4A comes up with a 3120 Mah battery and the phones battery backup depends upon a number of factors. Ans: The issue of the battery taking more time to charge can be resolved by battery calibration. To calibrate, your battery first charges the device to 100% and let it discharge to 0% and also let the device to turned off. Once the device gets turned off plug the charger and does not turn it on and charge the device to 100% this helps you to calibrate the battery. I hope this will help you.

Ans: To make a conference call what you had to do is first call to a person A after the person A receives your call there was an option in the screen to add a call by a + symbol over there click on it. Once you click on it then choose the person you want to make a call ex-name it as B once you make a call to B call of A get in hold then during a call on B press the merge key with a symbol upper arrow and after clicking that your call will be a conference call and both A and B now can talk at the same time.

Ans: If you forgot the app lock password then make sure you added the Mi account on the device and in Settings of app lock you can recover it and the users who don't have a Mi account added in it then you had to reset the device to factory settings.

FAQ ON HARDWARE ISSUES

-> What to do if any of my hardware like Backlight, vibration, Gsensor, Infrared sensor, camera, FM, Headphone jack etc suddenly stops working?
Ans: Most of the hardware failures can only be repaired by Xiaomi service centre but we can first check whether the Hardware issue is there or not and this can be done by entering the CIT Engineering mode this can be done by following the settings below-
Go to SETTINGS -> ABOUT PHONE -> CLICK ON KERNEL 5 TIMES -> SINGLE ITEM TEST then select the hardware you want to test. Below I am attaching the image of the CIT Single item test panel.

If the test fails then you had to go to nearest service centre to get your device repaired.

-> My proximity sensor is not working what should I do?

Ans: Go to settings -> About Phone -> Click on Kernel version up to 5 times Once you do that then click on Single item test -> Proximity Sensor and take a test of hardware if the hardware is working fine then there is no issue with the hardware and If test fails then go to nearest service center to check your device.

-> My device automatically restarts periodically what Can I do?
Ans: The periodically restarting of the device is the known issue our developers are working on it and it is recommended to keep your device updated to latest version of MIUI to prevent from such issues.
