[Discussion] Cannot Pair Band 2 to iphone 5s

Hi there!

Need some help and advice please.
I have a Band 2 that I am trying to pair with my iphone 5s.
Have downloaded the IOS Xiaomi app from appstore.
Have set up new account. Cannot seem to pair.
Message is ‘Cannot pair. Contact Customer Service’.
I have been trying to call the support hotline for hours butalways engaged tone.
My Xiaomi Band2 is from my relative who has already unpairedthe device and has left SG.
Can someone kindly help me.

Hello there! May I just clarify, the iPhone is able to detect the xiaomi band when scanning right? Just that it isn't able to pair?

I know this may a bit desperate of me to ask but perhaps the Mi Band's battery is out? Did you try charging it prior? After charging, perhaps you could try uninstall the app, restart your phone (make sure Bluetooth is off), install mi fit again, and try to pair it? It might be a little troublesome,

Do delete all forms of cache related to the Mi App. Don't on your Bluetooth prior to using the App to find the Mi Band!
What is your apple iOS software? Did you do a recent upgrade?

Hi JJ, any suggestion is helpful! Thank you for trying to help :)

Here's some answers to your queries :

1. Xiaomi Band 2 has battery at 65% when i tried to pair.
2. After charged, I installed the app.
3. I created my account then tried to pair it. Then got the msg 'Cannot Pair. Contact Customer Service'.
4. IOS software on the iphone 5s is 10.3.3

Should I do this ?

1. Fully drain out the battery in the Band .. till it is dead.
2. Remove the cache. Delete the app.
3. Charge the band (after it is dead and have totally lost all battery life and ability to retain any data .. i read somewhere this helps).
4. Download app again.
5. Add device and try to pair again.

You think the above might help?

Hi. Want to let u guys know that the above worked and the band has paired and working. Only the heart rate monitor is not tracking. Any advice hownI can get it to work?
