[Discussion] Bootloop after android automatic update (october 2019) MI A2

Hello!
This is what happened: On october 20, I received an automatic android Update. So I clicked the restart button from the notiffication.
After that, my phone screen went completely dark. Ithought that it was installing the update, but after 5 minutes of black screen (without any lights on) I realised that the phone was off. It went off instead of reboot like the button said.
So, I tried to turn on the phone, It showed the "Android ONE" logo, and tne phone went completely off after 2 seconds. I repeated this for serveral times (Every time I had to use the power button. It didn't happened by itself like other android phones I heared about).
I then tried to use my phone charger and it showed the battery icon and porcentage. From that screen I was finnally able to turn the phone on.
It showed the "your phone has been updated" notification. I thought the problem was solved, so I decided to restart the phone just to be sure. But surprise" It happened again!
So I tried the same thing, to connect the phone to the charger, but this time the battery icon wouln't appear. Instead it showed the "Android One" creen, then it turned off, and then the screen will appear again, ant it repeated several times until the battery icon appeared.
So I tried to turn on the phone again, but this time without success. It went back to the "android one" screen and then it turned off (the batterry was at 100%).
So, I tried to enter the recovery menu (vol up + power) and it didn't work.
After that I kept trying with the power button and after like 30 attempts It finnaly booted on.
Now Im affraid to turn off my cellphone.

Anyone with a similar experience?

Exactly.
After successful bootup, I did a factory reset for this issue, unfortunately the phone never boots up again.

So, your phone never booted up even after the factory reset?

Oh! And I was about to do the same thing! This is what I´ll do. I'll download the stock firmware and then try to unlock the bootloader. If this happen to me again, I´ll try to fastboot flash my phone...

you have to load the original ROM via edl point and you will resolve this issue, but if the phone is in warranty just return it and get a MIUI instead it will be 100 times better....i promise.....
