I am new to MIUI and apart from bugs here and there I find that the Settings are quite cluttered. What I'd expect would be a cleaner user experience when personalizing the MIUI experience. To mention an example I find several places where to influence notification vibrations and I'd like to have this simplified and ideally in one place.
Battery optimization should also be more straight forward for Apps. I see apps terminating even though I have excluded them from battery optimization.
So from my perspective it would be about as important to optimize the user experience as to fix bugs and add functionality.
Notifications in general seem to be a challenge for development but I assume this is not only a MIUI thing and will improve when Q has been fully rolled out.
While writing this I figure: Perfect control of app notifications (also ambient display) and app battery opitimization (i.e. Autostart, keep alive) are key for a great user experience. This goes well togehter with many user discussions I read in various forums.
Another thing that comes to my mind is the lock screen. Why must I swipe away the lock screen even if I use bluetooth unlock? Using BT unlock I'd expect to be logged in after I double-tap the display .. but no .. I still have to swipe away the lock screen. What happens is that I mostly use the fingerprint sensor (frankly because I don't realize the bt device is close) instead of just swiping the lock screen away. There are several other complaints around which are similiar e.g. related to face unlock.
I personally would give you more time to optimize what is there at this point in time before shouting for new features. Android One to me not the most exciting from a feature perspective - but it is well thought through. I'd hope the same from MIUI 11.
