I feel like this is a double edged sword. So it is amazing how far digital sound has come since the beginning. If this is accurate and the new aptX can produce near lossless sound quality then wireless headsets finally have something to phone home about. Not that they have already been catching on. The other side of that sword though is that bluetooth is still radiowaves and just like it is not a good thing to always hold your phone to your head it is even worse to have something planted in your ear (ears if you're using AirDots) that's transmitting those radiowaves. Yes bluetooth headsets are convenient. But is it worth it to possibly do damage to your brain? So for now I'm just happy that the technology has gotten so far but until there's a wireless headset that's proven to have no effect on humans I'll stick to the traditional wired headsets. Besides my latest noise cancelling earbuds from Xiaomi are incredible! I can't believe these tiny buds can actually cancel out the ambient noise of my surroundings so well.
