Same thing here. Not rooted, not unlocked, no any ROMs or updates but the OTA ones and my Mi 9 SE is another paperweight.

I can understand that this mister with working phone does not understand the anger of us the other users that were out of luck.

I just clicked OK to reboot my phone and got welcomed buy red triangle and happy message. And this was with 100% battery as I just plugged it off charger couple of minutes earlier.

The way I see it, Xiaomi will have to provide an Unlock app that can unlock regardless of the account bining so we can push the new ROM. My phone was purchased online so I do not have any practical warranty - not without spending a lot on shipping. Also, all my data is up there and I am not happy in sending it to anyone.

From the screen with the error message it switched off after a few minutes without touching it. I don't know if it's just turned off the screen or the device, but it seems off

Dear user
try to hold down power on and volume up and volume down button together and when your device vibrates try to turn it off by holding power button
Thank you

This is a joke right?
You make shit with the update and don't have a solution for users who don't buy the Mi9 se directly in a Mi Store?

Hello dear user. As you didn't bind your account, I think that there's only two solution. First is to go to official repair store. The second is to do test point method but it voids warranty...
