Xiaomi introduced its long-anticipated Mi Smart Band 4, along with a wide range of new smart home products today at its ecosystem product launch in Beijing. Moving forward with its AIoT strategy, Xiaomi strives to further expand its smart home appliances product portfolio by launching a series of home appliances, including smaller-sized variants, across all categories in households.

As of March 31 this year, the number of Xiaomi IoT connected devices has exceeded 171 million units (excluding smartphones and laptops) with a 70 percent year-on-year increase. 4. Xiaomi TV Sells Over 100 Million Yuan (∼$14.4 Million ) In 10 Minute!

On June 16, 2019, the annual 618 e-commerce sales entered a unique phase. At this sales, the popularity of the XiaomiTV in China was showcased as it took only 10 minutes to sell over 100 million yuan (∼$14.4 million). In addition, the company released a chart which shows that as of noon on June 16, the brand TV sales in the Jingdong platform ranked first, and the second place is Hisense TV.

Xiaomi also ranked first in the flat-panel TV sales. Lei Jun said: “Xiaomi TV this year must be the first and we are ready to lead.” It is understood that in order to meet the 618 e-commerce war, Xiaomi full-screen 55-inch version took an 800 yuan ($116) price cut to sell for only 2199 yuan ($318). This price was active on numerous platforms including Xiaomi Mall, Xiaomi Youpin, Tmall, Jingdong, Suning and others.

mi band 4 should be great, i'm a mi band 3 user and it's excellent. mi TVs continue to disappoint, no matter the sales numbers, they're just outdated and offer very poor picture quality as they still use 5 years old processors and lack every bit of technology that makes a TV stand out: local dimming, 120hz panel, graphics processor, image enhancements and so on. there's so much room for improvement, don't know what are they waiting for. truly disappointed
