But China users get frequent stable and developer. The reason is simple. Xiaomi are releasing too many devices so the global developer team cannot keep up with the work. Solution is simple, hire more global developers.
You had to choose between save money or stop developer rom and you chose stop developer rom. Its a bad choice imo and will backfire. More people will buy Chinese devices from aliexpress, this is just one reason to not pay higher prices for local global versions.
When you consider that xiaomi.eu team converts the same amount of chinese roms every week, for FREE, this is ridicilous. Your reason for providing better stable rom is not true, the global roms are all based of the chinese rom. China developers do the real work. Global developer simply modify it, similar to xiaomi.eu team. All you need to do is hire more people or replace them with more skilled developers who can work faster, like the Xiaomi.eu team can, and they are made of 2 or 3 people.
You know that part you said @Elaine2046... this "small portion" of users are the most committed to advertising for the company, it's a very interesting niche to have. I see the decision as a step backwards. I hope the engineer will reconsider.
