Xiaomi has reportedly launched a website where it is teasing heavily about the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Max 2. The website reveals a lot about the upcoming device. It shows that the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 will come packed with 6-inch full HD display and 5000mAh battery. That being said, the upcoming phone will deliver an excellent battery backup. The website further adds that the device after the launch will go on sale in China only. However, Xiaomi, like it usually does, with time will release the handset in other markets as well.
Xiaomi is also teasing the upcoming Mi Max 2 on Weibo as well. In terms of the specifications, this Xiaomi device will be announced in two variants. One with 4GB of RAM and Snapdragon 626 SoC which is expected to come with a price tag of CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs. 14,000). While, the second will be the high-end variant with and 6GB of RAM with Snapdragon 660 SoC at CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 15,900).
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 further is expected to sport a 6.44-inh full-HD display with all-metal body. On the camera front, the device is expected to come with 12-megapixel camera on the rear panel. The rear camera is further supposed to be paired with Sony IMX378 sensor. On the front, Mi Max 2 will come with 5-megapixel front camera. While on the storage front, Xiaomi is expected to introduce a 128GB storage variant of the Mi Max 2.
Other features that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is expected to come with are -- dual speaker grilles at the bottom edge, a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack on the top edge, fingerprint scanner in the centre at the back.
