Tired, Dissappointed, Sad and fast losing hope of ever owning a Redmi Note 4 (Grey).
Have owned a black Moto g2 for the past 2 years. Really sick of the blcak color and gold looks too flashy.
The Grey model for me is the perfect combination of color and premiumness at the same time. Hope this post on which color to choose helps!
The Color Wars!
For many of my like minded freinds out there this is a no-brainer!!
The back side with the gold finish looks good. However I find it a little too flashy.
The front, with the white borders looks pretty average.
The white color hides the impact and the beauty of the curved front glass.
Also white somehow tends to bring down the premium looks of the phone.
Black still manages to do a pretty decent job. Especially the shiny silver linings at the top and bottom at the rear give it a neat and a classy look.
The complete black screen at the front when the phone is on standby or switched-off makes the design look seamless.
The screen looks even brighter than the Gold variant because of the black borders which makes the display stand out.
Smudging on the back.
Have gone through several unboxing videos, one common drawback I have noticed is that smudging is visible and can happen at the slightest touch.
People dont have the patience to clean their phones over and over again. The smudging might just end up making the phone look shabby.
Hats off to the designer!! This color combination is among the coolest of its kind and gives a uber class feel to the smart phone.
The silver linings at the top and bottom complements the matt silver finish extremely well.
However I have found the grey finish (4GB+64GB) to be unavailable on both Flipkart and the Mi flash sales for the past 4 weeks.
Hope this helps all those praying to land a Grey Redmi Note 4!
