Xiaomi have already released many products directly or under its subsidiaries like Mijia. Now another product is available in China under Mijia brand which is a LED ceiling lamp jointly built by Xiaomi and Philips. Xiaomi have made partnership agreement for developing smart home lighting products with Philips around 7 months before, and this product would be based on that.
The ceiling lamp comes with the perceptive function, which regulates the brightness of lamp according to the illumination of the room, the season, time and other conditions. The color temperature of light automatically adjusts to the appropriate state that won’t be too bright or dull. It also comes with a remote control to control the ceiling lamp. Also the light can be connected to the traditional wall switch.
The remote control has the capability of monitoring the temperature and humidity of the room which would enables the user to optimize the lighting system. The Smart ceiling lamp can also be controlled using the mobile app and the colors can be changed as well to suit the season and time of the day.
The Xiaomi Philip Smart Ceiling Lamp carries a price tag of 349 Yuan (~$50) while the remote control is sold separately for 79 Yuan. The light product will be on sale in China on Mi Mall only.
