Hi Mi Fans
We are living in Smart Phone era, we are using our phone along the day, we are making calls, for Internet Surffing, Social Media ... etc .
During this all day usage, the phone may face any type of failures, it may be dropped, Touched by liquids, even face high temprature .
You may face random restarts, Touch hang, Sensors mailfunctioning ...etc .
The cause of these issues may be Hardware or Software .
MIUI includes a great tool called CIT Mode, and in Android world it may called Engineering Mode .
CIT Mode allows you to run some tests on you phone hardware , if the tests were successful, then the issue may be caused by Software problem, and if the tests were not successful , then the issue may be caused by Hardware problem .
Let's see how to use MIUI CIT Mode
Open Settings , and press on About Phone
Press multiple times on Kernel Version
CIT Mode main screen appears, and contains different phone hardware components .
For example, press on Keyboard Test , this allows you to test the different buttons Located in your phone like Power, Volume Up and Volume Down .
Just as indicated by the test, press each button, and if there is no issues, each press will be represented by a Green Line in the test screen .
Now, press Pass in the lower section of the screen to return to CIT main screen , and you will notice a Pass sign , this indicates that the tests were successfuly passed and there is no Hardware issues with that part .
CIT main screen also contains Three Dots at the upper right corner, press and select Additional Tools .
Additional Tools allows you to perform more tests, and also Calibrate the different Sensors within your phone like Accelerometer Sensor, Gyro Sensor, Proximity Sensor ... etc .
That was a preview of MIUI CIT Mode feature , and how to use it and test the different components of your phone .
Thanks for your time
