[Discussion] 32 bir or 64 bit? Google Play will continue to support 32-bit devices

Starting August 1, 2021, Google Play won't serve apps without 64-bit versions on 64-bit capable devices. Users with 64-bit devices simply won't see 32-bit only apps in Google Play, including games built with Unity 5.6 or older.
"We are not making changes to our policy on 32-bit support. Play will continue to deliver apps to 32-bit devices. This requirement means that apps with 32-bit native code will need to have an additional 64-bit version as well," Google Play and Android product managers note in a blog.

so i think there is no problem for us with our redmi s/y2 phones.

32bit apps must have 64bit version. but 64bit version doesn't must have 32bit app.
example: Gcam have 64 bit version but dont have 32bit. so if some good app come out in 64 bit version. you wont be able to install it because it doesn't have 32bit version.

yes, that is true. but every necessary app we need must have two versions every time. so no big deal. about Gcam note that only snapdragons devices that unlocked and supported api2 and HAL3 can run and install. and Redmi s2  for installing Gcam must have those permissions (which is do not have). not just 32-bit Rom issue.

if they have 32 bit version you can download it from anywhere you want. but if they have 64bit version only(i think its happen to few apps and not popular) you can not.

GCam not working is a 32-bit issue. Camera2API and HAL3 can be enabled easily with root. In fact, I already have it enabled in my device. No app "must" have two version; they're not forced to. Any of the "necessary" app you need can stop updating the 32-bit version (and they probably will to save cost) anytime and you wouldn't be able to do anything about it.
