Okay, keep that in memory:
64gb   6Gb of RAM.
If the Mi9 currently costs $ 419 in Gearbest and Redmi K20 will theoretically cost less (in the range of $ 299 to $ 399).  Poco will be in limbo.  If the K20 costs $ 350 and it's almost unlikely that the Poco F2 will get $ 299, certainly everyone spent a paltry amount to get a better build (because if Poco F2 is made of glass and it's going to hit the K20 ).  My opinion is that Poco has its days counted.  A feather.

the only thing about the Poco from the Mi8 that was basically fundamentally different was the launcher and some minor hardware differences

i don't mind which Xiaomi phone i use as long as i can get it - and if Gearbest keeps selling it i can more-or-less get it but sometimes Gearbest doesn't send the versions i want to my country .... for example the transparent back edition of the Mi9 isn't being sent to my country but i can get the standard versions ..... that's sad if i wanted the exclusivity of the premium editions

i honestly don't mind if there isn't a Poco F2 because i will probably buy the replacement of the Mi9 .... but i suppose the Poco identity is important for the branding in India

IMO, don't think K20 gonna be new F2. It will not have the identity to differentiate the product as both use MIUI.. What i expect is a tapered down functions from Xiaomi=>Redmi=>Poco. Poco will get the least function while maintaining a high-end chipset. This help Xiaomi as whole to clear his massive Qualcomm chipset orders.

It's better for us if they don't make Poco F2

I think Xiaomi is exaggerating it now.
They bring too many variants to the market.
Xiaomi, Pocophone, Redmi, ...
Each of these brands has similar variants.
They should focus on fewer variants.

Xiaomi has gone far too deep being a company... Last time they only concentrate one 1 or 2 model of phone with good support.. Those days were gone and never be back as corporate minded pple running the shows and KPI/Earning. Look at OnePlus, they still updating Oneplus3/T while MIUI kill off update for 2-3years low mid phone.
