Assalamu Alaikum, MIUIer's
What's up? I hope you re well by the grace of Allah. Alhamdulillah, I'm also fine. Do you know what is the AR Sticker? And how to use it on your mobile?
If you don't know then read this thread. I think after reading this thread, you will install it easily on your device.
Before starting this tutorial you should know something about it. Ex: What is this? Risk of installing this and requirements.
❒ What is AR Sticker?
ARCore is a reworked augmented reality framework that can do many of the Tango AR tricks but without all the extra hardware. AR Stickers is out now in the Play Store for the Pixel 1 and Pixel 2. The app is a new mode in the Google Camera that allows you to drop various 3D characters into the camera feed.
❒ Risk of installing AR Sticker:
If you want to install this then you need to unlock your device bootloader. Your device warranty can be void after unlocking and also you can do anything wrong with your device then, it will be bricked. So, do anything at your own risk.
● Unlocked Bootloader
● Root Permission (Latest Magisk)
● Camera2 api
● AR Core Enabler
● AR Core App
● Playground app (9+) or AR Stickers app (8+)
■ First, unlock your device bootloader. If you don't know how you can do this then follow this tutorial.
■ Now install custom recovery and root your device. You can root your device from custom recovery or without a custom recovery. I recommended you to follow the custom recovery method. Here is all the method:
■ Enable camera2 api on your device. It is very simple many of Xiaomi device camera2 api is enabled by default. Example: Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro, Mi 8, Mi 9, POCOPHONE F1/POCO F1 and others. If you confused for that, " I'm not sure my device camera2 api enabled or not!" Then download the Manual Camera Compatibility app and check the result.
If all things are green then don't need to enable this of all things are red then you need to enable it. If you are using Android 8 device then follow this or if you are using Android 9 or more update device then follow this tutorial.
■ After enabling camera2 api download "ARCore_Playground_Patcher-v1.5.zip" and flash it from Magisk manager. After flashing clean play store data and reboot your device.
