Still not solved in the latest MIUI10.3.2.0 GLOBAL!
Weak performance, especially because it is a security feature.

Hmm, no problem here with a BMW F1 and a G32 on the last Beta ROMs.

(..other than that the album covers are not ransferred via BT, see here:

Thanks for the feedback. But the problem exists now for a longer time and is still not fixed in the stable.
I do not understand it, unlike album covers, this is a security feature!
And referring to the Beta does not really help me.

I referred to the Beta as this is what I have (as well as the different car, can't test the Beta on an E92).

At least this tells that it's not a general problem - or it is fixed in Beta and then should translate into stable sometime in the future.

It seems they broke quite some BT aspects in MIUI 10 (like AAC as well) and only in the last Betas some of those errors seem to have been fixed.

A pity, thit is not a solution for me to wait for such a long time and hope that it will finally be fixed one day.

Why not trying the Beta first?

Honestly, I have no desire to deal with the subject for long, and I have better things to do than being a beta tester for Xiaomi.
Unlocking, falshing, testing, set up the phone again ... This all takes too long
The problem has been known now for a longer time.

OK, but you DO NOT have to unlock the phone (a common misunderstanding)

it's just downloading the Beta and select this file in the updater app.
A wipe and fresh setup is required though  - but having a backup this is not that much work.

Compared to the hassle with giving back the phone (if you can) maybe wait for a new one and having to set this up newly...

Had same issues with bloutooth in my car and same thoughts about moving to beta. After I found that I don't need to unlock (and risk Google Pay), I have moved to Beta and it turned out to be a good choice.
I also uninstall unused software via adb but that's different story :)
