I am back again with another cool Mi product for unboxing and my first impression. This time it's a big Mi Headphones Comfort. Honestly, i am surprised with Mi India launching so many cool products in India. I hope this goes on and we get to see much more than ever. Can't talk too much, so....
Let's get started -
This one is really big.
From another angle, the Mi packet is pretty cool.
Inside is a brown box with a Mi logo.
And this box is soooo bigggg...
Inside the brown box is the Mi Headphones Comfort box.
The standard white Mi box with the product image.
The box is really tall and on the left corner is a Hi-Res logo, seems promising.
On the back is the product info in English and some chinese too.
This one is sliding box.
Here it is, in all it's glory.
The Headphones looks really nice and premium.
Box content - Mi Headphones Comfort, User Manual and Carry pouch.
The design is so appealing and feels really good to hold.
The cushions are huge and very soft.
There is proper indication if left and right.
Here is the play/ pause button. I cannot see it too but yeah the panel is kind of pressable. Quiet a design.
The carry pouch is also of really nice quality and will be very useful when travelling with this headphones.
I would like to split my intial impression in two parts -
Design - Amazing! the first word when you talk about design. The plastic used is premium. The headphones looks very beautiful yet it is equally strong. There is no Mi branding anywhere visible on the headphones. The wire looks very durable and comes with a mic. But there are problems - First, There is no volume rockers. Second, these headphones are not foldable like the previous headphones, so carrying them is a bit problematic. Altogether, you won't be disapponinted with the design at all.
Performance - I want to shout out loud that these headphones are amazing but i cannot. These gorgeous looking headphones sits comfortably on your head but fails to deliver what you want them to. The vocals are great, you can hear even the minute dripping of water in the background but there is no bass. The cushions are big enough to surround your ears completely and create a home theatre like surrounding but the lack of bass, well it's a bit disappontment here. Also MIUI Rom is still missing on Mi equalizer settings for this one and i hope the setting will make some difference, whenever it comes.
You can wear these headphones for hours, these are so light and comfortable. These are a conversation starter too, people gonna talk about it. Only thing i can complain about is, i wish they were foldable and a bit good on bass.
Shoot your questions in the comment section below and i will make sure they are all answered.
Will come up with more threads very soon.
Till then ciao!
