On June 25, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 was officially released. It uses an 8-inch screen and can be held with one hand. On June 29, this tablet went on sale for the first time and it quickly sold out. It comes in black and gold versions.

The Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 has dimensions of 120.3mm x 200.2mm x 7.9mm and weighs 342.5 grams. The screen uses a 16:10 aspect ratio, a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, a pixel density of 283ppi, and a contrast ratio of 1200:1. In terms of key features, the tablet sports a Snapdragon 660 AIE processor, which is coupled with various memory options (as you see). Plus, there is TF card slot making it possible to expand the storage up to 256GB. Under the hood, it also carries a 6000mAh battery supporting 5V/2A charging. According to the official statement, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 can provide up to 12 hours of video playback, 15 hours of reading, 8 hours of playing games, and 10 hours of shooting.  As for the latter, it comes with 5MP front-facing and a 13MP rear-mounted cameras. The former one supports AI face recognition.

Finally, this device is considered as a tablet ‘made for movie and TV content.’ This is because the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 brings together wonderful contents as iQiyi, Tencent Video, and Sohu. Among them, the built-in Mi video app supports TV live coverage of CCTV and TV channels. It’s a shame that it is quite difficult to get most of these smartphones directly from the manufacturers and we are left with no option but to pay extra bucks to own these devices outside China.
