well, there is another point where i consider this Redmi Note is due to it has 2GB ram which is really needed for android. For other brand such as Huawei or Lenovo they can't sell there 2GB phone for cheap price. The only phone price close to Redmi Note is Huawei Honor 3C but still need to pay extra for approx RM100........ :)

Well, I have big issues with MIUI launcher, since it is designed so neatly, that by a small change in dpi, the whole design fails very badly. And I know the size of Redmi Note. By the comparison with my Mi2s, it is huge, but the placements of the icons, their sizes, and text sizes (even when it is put to exxtra small font) are not changing in MIUI with the changing screen size. Thus, they seem very huuuge for me (that is why I use 250dpi instead of normal 342dpi in my Mi2s). And they give me an eyeache. That is why I've installed Mokee and CM ROMs to my Mi2s instead of MIUI and WIUI. Thus, before buying xiaomi phones, which I love for all of their aspects except the launcher, I'll see whether Mokee and CM has made any ROMs compatible with these devices, that can be altered as I wish {:4_119:}

I'm not fan of CM roms, where it don't have official support and sometime cuz alot of problem.....bug alot. But i will test CM roms into my current very old phone which is similar to Canvas A110...........but only unofficial roms available. Until than i have to wait until my mi phone arrive. Peace ^.^V

I understand the flattery {:4_118:}

But if you compare them side-by-side, would you choose mi4 over honor 6? And why? Is it the specifications? Is it the design? Or is it the launcher?

hmm.. a little bit of all those, spec, design, the launcher.. it's really a tough one.. there are things that I like in honour 6 (dual sim, microSD sot, Dolby sound enhancement) but for me right now, I would go for Mi4..

Maybe in stock one, idk. But I can't use MIUI launcher with changed dpi settings, thus I have to use AOSP ROMs. But to not forget MIUI, I used true dual boot in my MI2s, so that one system would have MIUI (3GB) and on other one everyday usable AOSP (3GB) (both MoKee and CM are great! ). But lately I've heard that MIUI v6 will cone very late (or even wouldn't come) to Mi2s, thus I use the 2 AOSP ROMs in my Mi2s. But the sad thing is that, in TDB, one system is for AOSP, and other is for MIUI. That is, my two AOSP ROMs have 3 GB space in total. But what is happening in stock MIUI... I don't know. With density intolerant miui v6, I couldn't stay even a week... It was so badly distorted after a dpi change :O
