I saw many people in web complaining about Mi4 not being octa-core, not having a replacable battery and most of them were about the missing microSD slot. But here comes Huawei Honor 6. These two phones have so many in common. And by the way, honor 6 has an octa-core processor, 20mAh more battery juice and microSD available... Prices of those two phones are also near.

You can check them side-by-side here:

I'd prefer Mi4, since I don't use microSD, I don't mind extra 20mAh and I use my Mi2s by decreasing the CPU to 1Ghz...

And one more:

Mi4 has speaker grills that can make sound when they're put on face up. But Honor 6's speaker grills are at the back (like my Mi2s), and would make very low sound if they are put face up.

had bad experience with removable SD-CARD. read built in more stable and don't have to worry the internal memory is running low and have to move app to SD-CARD.

mi4 has lost the dual flash, which a bit disappointed there.

SD-card doesn't just give you an extra space. You can exchange your SD card with a friend, you can put it inside a computer and the speed is way much higher than just a cable connection or bluetooth connection {:4_118:}

It doesn't matter. I have Mi2s with 32GB storage, and no micro SD. But its internal memory is 3GB (for each system, since I use TDB) and external memory is 26GB. Thus, when the apps fill the 3GB, it tells me to move them into SD-card (the 26GB storage).

So, if you buy 64GB Mi4, you wouldn't get 64 GB system space, you would at most get 4GB, which may sometimes be not enough if you're using 1GB apps as I do. Then you have to worry about moving them in and out the "SD-card"

You are right. That is one step more back from Honor 6, due to lacking dual flash

And by the way, Honor 6 doesn't have touch buttons as Mi4 does. It has on-screen buttons, which may be disappointing for some users {:4_119:}

Even though I prefer external SD card slot and removable battery... but I still will go for Mi 4. This is more to branding and confidence issues for me... {:m001:}

My choice is Xiaomi MI4. With 64G of memory you don't need a SD card slot.
Better front camera, dust and water resistant, NFC are enough for me to choose MI4.
