Do you guys use a Google camera mod APK - MIUI Tips & Tricks - Mi Community

Google showed that software can vault an otherwise ordinary 12MP shooter to the top. Obviously it's not going to get it 100% like the Pixel but it's at least 90-95% as good. So do you guys use this APK over the stock Xiaomi camera?

I tried a port on my Mi 8, and frankly wasn't that impressed, the results were mediocre (I'm a point and click kind of guy), and the UI not that great

If you have the older phone like redmi 5+ and below its worth a shot. But if you got like newer phone with the AI detection it will be a waste of feature.

completely disagree with you. I use a Mi Mix 3 along with my Pixel 3 and the Gcam makes a huge difference in MiMix 3

Even though this is made for the 6T. I used it on my Mi Mix 3 with no problems. I haven't thoroughly checked and tweaked all the settings because there's a LOT of options.

Just be sure to go to the advance, base and change the front camera to Pixel 3 XL and you should have every feature working. Contrast and details are definitely more superior you'll notice when you use it.
