1. Mi USB-C Power Adapter (45W) Officially Released, Priced At 99 Yuan

Xiaomi released a new USB-C power adapter (45W) for CNY 99 ($14) on March 3rd. The adapter was released with model name CDQ02ZM and is available on Mi Home app. The USB-C power adapter is pure white in color. It comes with a special design, the use of folding pins and linear separation design which makes it very easy to carry and save space. The body has only one USB-C output interface.



It is compatible with a variety of charging protocol, it supports PD2.0 protocol and QC3.0 equipment for fast charging. It supports AC100-240 wide voltage input, breaking the voltage limits and covering the world's vast majority of national voltage standards.

2. Xiaomi Is Now Working On Devices With Artificial Intelligence

Xiaomi always looking forward to the future, In a recent press conference Lei Jun has spoken about this plan to release products with artificial intelligence. During the conference the Lei Jun spoke about the main goals of company which include accelerating the development of artificial intelligence, to develop retail experiences and to schedule more launches in non-Chinese markets.



Xiaomi want to release these products very soon, for that the company increased development team by 50%, so we can see the MIUI based artificial intelligence devices soon.

3. Xiaomi Officially Launched Scishare Coffee Machine Priced at 399 Yuan ($58)

Today Xiaomi has launched their 67th Smart Home product which is Scishare Coffee Maker machine under Mijia Brand priced at 399 Yuan ($58) under Crowdfunding platform.
According to an analytical report, coffee retail sales has increade by 3% to reach 65,000 tons in 2016. This was mainly due to a rising consumer interest in the coffee culture in China in 2016. So experts believe it is good move by Xiaomi to launch the Coffee machine at this point.



The Xiaomi Scishare Coffee Machine is built by Ningbo Heart Technology Co. Ltd. It houses a 19-bar electromagnetic pump which is said to have been imported from Italy that has a power rating of 1200W to ensure that each cup of coffee have been fully extracted.

4. Mi In-Ear Headphones Pro HD Launched In India With Improved Specifications

Xiaomi has announced the launch of Mi In-Ear Headphones Pro HD in India at Rs. 1999. The headphones will be available for sale on March 10 at 12 PM.


Mi In-Ear Headphones Pro HD features dual dynamic coupled with balanced armature drivers. Moreover, it is equipped with support for tri-band natural equalization for enhanced audio experience. The product is integrated with natural sound equalizer Graphene diaphragm including the ability to tune via scientific acoustic technology.

5. Xiaomi Unveils Smart Shoes Powered By Intel Chips

There are very few companies that can boast of a product portfolio as diverse as Xiaomi. Xiaomi’s portfolio of smart consumer durables is expanding with a variety of new products. Xiaomi has now launched a new pair of smart sports footwear under its Mijia brand. The company is calling it as the Xiaomi 90 Minutes Ultra Smart Running Shoes.



The smart shoes from Xiaomi, developed by Shanghai-based RunMi Technology Co. Ltd, come with 60 days of battery life and have Intel's compact Curie chip that stores all the fitness related data. The shoes are reportedly aimed at professional runners/athletes and come with arch design and anti-skid features.

6. Redmi Note 4 finally launched in Malaysia

Xiaomi's latest smartphone release, the Redmi Note 4 is now up for sale in Malaysia after a long time of waiting. Pre-orders for the smartphone officially started today on March 10 on Online Mi Store at Lazada and retail outlets nationwide. The actual open sale will begin on March 16.



Redmi Note 4 comes to Malaysia almost eight months after the phone was first released in the company’s home market, China. Unlike its previous online-only sale on the official website, the company is now making their devices more widely available than before, including both online and retail (Online Mi Store @ Lazada & retail outlets) channels nationwide.

7. Mi LED Intelligent Table Lamp Won "IF" Gold Award 2017

Xiaomi on 10th March 2017 has officially announced that, Mi LED intelligent lamp successfully achieved the iF design award Gold medal, which is the first from Mi family to win the iF Gold Award. It has also been honored with Good design award.



The Mi Smart LED Desk Lamp has an attractive minimalist look and comes with four lighting modes for different needs: Focus mode, read mode, PC mode and kid mode.

8. Xiaomi to boost offline sales by strengthening Retail Network in India

Xiaomi India was providing 90 per cent of the sales through online channels, while less than 10 per cent are from offline stores. This is going to be changed this year as the company is moving its focus to strengthen offline sales and to penetrate deep into the country.



At present company is shipping its products to almost 40 percent of the locations in India, which is nearly 14,000 pin codes in India. "This clearly highlights our presence in Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets. As we increase our focus on offline sales, we will further increase our penetration in these markets," Manu Jain, Vice President of Xiaomi and Managing Director, Xiaomi India.
