Recently, Counterpoint (A Technology Market Research Firm) released a report surrounding the profits earned by mobile companies for each phone that they sell. In the 3rd quarter of 2017, it shows that the average net profit earned by Apple is $151 per phone sold. This is in comparison with $31 earned by Samsung, $15 for Huawei, $14 for oppo, $13 for Vivo, for every single phone sold. Xiaomi merely earns a $2 profit margin from each Xiaomi phone sold.  Knowing this statistic makes many Mi Fans worried about Xiaomi. The mobile phone industry is indeed a highly competitive one and Xiaomi has indeed pushed its profit down for the benefit for its users, its in ever-lasting mission to provide high technology products at an affordable cost to all its users.
