Hello Mi Fans,
How are you all doing? Hope all are going well with the monsoon onset!
Well in between the rains and rages of mother nature we successfully complete our 4th and 1st official meet up of Mi-FC Tripura, the only official Mi fan club from North-eastern part of our country.Well, this time we chose an off-bit location for our meet-up and that too in the lap of nature.
Trishna Wildlife Sanctuary was the place we all met. But due to time limitations, everything had to be cut off short except our enthusiasm and zeal.
Let's explore a bit about Trishna first, it's a place famous for 'Indian Gaur' (Bison). Located in Belonia (92 km from the capital city of Agartala) it's a conservation forest area spread across almost 160 square km.
Coming back, As it was our first official meet up we were super excited for the meetup and we never ever thought that someday we too will have our own MiFC thanks to Mi and administration for supporting us.
We all met at the Entrance gate of the park, in a small cottage where some Mi merchandise was distributed among the fan club members and the delicious Mi cake was cut to mark the start of official MiFC celebration. The cake looked as beautiful as its taste was. We are thankful for the authority that they let us celebrate among the strict vigilance.
Honestly speaking I wanted another bite!

Then we entered the main park which led to a cottage where the core meet was going to be held. The view was enchanting... With the lake in front with a crossing bridge by our side. Amidst this phenomenon, our contests began.
Mr. Debajit Chakraborty, as usual, was our host of the show. Started with his baritone accent and initiated the fun-events.
This time the theme was mainly "Technical Boot Camp", with three individual events.
1. Build your own device.
2. Photography Contest.
3. 9 reasons why you love MI.
Each contest was customized tailored-made with inspiration from the community and other sources. They at the end proved to be even more fun engaging.
Build your own device is one of the 3 events held. The participants were asked to make their own respective dream phones with the prices of each spare part given to them. The most preferred one by the judges was selected and awarded. Unfortunately, no participant came with a satisfactory answer to this and they all seemed to be attracted towards flagship things but ignoring the cost, which is absolutely not feasible.
Photography Contest, The heart and soul of the meetup activities started with the theme being declared "Mi (Which also meant 'me' in the phrase) amidst nature".
The participants were really giving a tough challenge to each other with their retrospective shots and point of views. Here are some honorable mentions of the event.
Our Mi Fan, Mr. Basudeb Debnath bagged away the winner prize, which was Mi Bluetooth Speaker mini and was declared as the winner. Then we unboxed the product and truly were baffled with the output sound. It's really loud!
Next thing was in order to highlight MIUI 9, the participant has to point out 9 features or reason why he/she likes MIUI and the most relevant and appropriate will be selected and awarded. In this section, Mi Fan, Mr. Tapash Debnath snatched away the Mi WiFi Repeater 2. He seemed pretty happy which can be guessed from his smiles! I personally use 3 Mi WiFi Repeater 2 in my home and those things speak to each other very fluidly.
As the meetup was getting its flow, the main event started! THE BOOT CAMP!
Now I must admit that flashing and playing with ROM, BOOTLOADER etc. Is not everyone's thing of interest. But to our surprise, almost every one of our MiFC is interested keenly to have developer ROM and we helped them get a permission from Mi. Hope Mi allow us all to flash the developer ROM beta.
A number of bugs were reported to the Device team Members and they responded and reacted well to this. Our President MiAkash guided us well in this explaining the whole process and getting flashed. We even flashed one Redmi Note 3 (SD) with Developer ROM (Beta).
