The first device to be launched under the brand name was rumoured to be ‘Lanmi X1’, but recently surfaced leaks suggest it would be called Xiaomi 5X and will launch on July 26.
A new leaked poster of Xiaomi 5X has appeared online. The poster reveals that the phone will feature a 5.5-inch display, is powered by Snapdragon 625 processor, coupled with 4GB RAM, and will cost 1,999 Yuan (approximately Rs 19,999). The model teased in the poster is speculated to be a standard variant of Xiaomi 5X, while earlier rumours suggest the first Lanmi phone could be powered by Snapdragon 660 chipset coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM, offering 64GB/128GB storage options.In the poster, the phone is also shown to come with a dual-camera setup, reaffirming rumours that Lanmi design will likely resemble to that of iPhone 7 Plus and OnePlus 5 smartphone.
