[Q&A] Why Mi Unlock asks me to wait for ANOTHER 240 - then 400 hours to unlock bootloader???

Hello guys,
I have purchased a Redmi K20 pro with locked bootloader from a reseller, I received my phone and asked for unlock permission on Oct 14th, 2019.
I checked with Xiaomi Unlock tool and initially it asked me to wait 168 hours to unlock my device. After 168 hours, I tried to unlock bootloader and the unlock tool asks me to wait for 240 hours to unlock it. Why is there another waiting period? And I just checked again, the unlock tool now asks me to wait for 400 hours to unlock!!!
Do you know how to solve this problem or the only option is to wait. I'm afraid that they would ask me to wait again after 400 hours. Xiaomi is really messy lately.

Put your sim in Phone. Bind your MI Account in Developer Options Bootloader Unlock.
You Can Pull sim back but dont sign out from Mi Account.

Hii, There's no trick or another way available. You have to wait given period. Thanks

The process is now simplified and permission is granted automatically. You don't need to apply for it. Refer to this thread https://c.mi.com/thread-2262302-1-0.html

I know these steps and already followed these steps in the first place, the problem is the unlock tool asked me to wait 168 hours, then it asked me to wait 240 hours, then it - again - asked me to wait 400 hours. You can't unlock right away with Mi unlock tool, you have to wait the specific amount of time, but why the tool asked me to wait for longer days even though I have waited more than 168 hours.

There is a difference between applying for permission and waiting for the given period. If you don't know about that, then don't jump into replying to any thread.

Dear Sir / Madam-Crossfiree.
I find no difference between the two posts.
Both posts refer the questioner to the same application (Mi Unlock App).
I'd love to get an explanation:
what's the difference between the  Super moderator Manjeet dahiya's answer:
"There's no trick or another way available. You have to wait given period"
And the answer to the questioner in the post: https://c.mi.com/thread-2537096-1-0.html (your answer)
In both cases there is a request to unlock bootloader,And in both cases you have to use the same application (Mi Unlock App).
