Hei Mi fans,
Wassup all? I had tied down myself to take many shots for my Redmi Note 8 Pro Review. Getting to explore more into the MI AI Camera app was gratifying since I got to use and try most of the features to capture images easier than ever before. Anyway, Macro mode is available on Video, Photo and Pro mode.
Hence, today I found that nifty feature in the Pro which was a big help for me, my hands a shaky cos of anxiety and wanting to get my review out soonest and go on with my other chores. I used Screen Recorder app for your easy viewing. As you all know photography is all about lighting and here to illuminate my subject which was the lens and the LED lens diffuser. With the Peak On, I could see the illuminated red light, showing me the intensity of light to get a clearer focused result.
What is Perking?
Focus peaking works by detecting edges of highest contrast in your scene and highlighting them in a bright color, in this case the camera is using red. This allows photographers to recognize what is in focus and what isn't, since it will be contrasting with the normal colors of the scene. Perking also help show you how much of the scene is in focus at those apertures for checking your current depth of field. Nevertheless, phone camera have fixed aperture.
Do try it out and compare results. Signing off and have a good Sunday
