![]() Hello Mi Fans, China’s wearable market registered strong growth in Q2 2019 reports IDC’s Quarterly Wearable Tracker. The wearable device shipments grew at a solid 34.3% YoY in the previous quarter, taking the total shipments to 23.07 million units. Of these, low-end wearables like smart bands and headsets which do not support third-party applications contributed 18.46 million units, up by 31.9% YoY. As for the smart wearables which do support third-party applications, they contributed 4.61 million units in the same time period, growing at 45% YoY. ![]() Source: IDC Xiaomi took the lead in the wearable market with products such as the Mi Band 4 and the Redmi Airdots.
